Arbitrators Categories
Our Directory of Arbitrators is composed of the following three categories.
The Panel of Arbitrators
Individuals included on the Panel of Arbitrator are experienced members of the arbitration community who have been appointed as arbitrators in multiple disputes and have significant experience in award drafting. They shall be able to demonstrate substantial experience as an arbitrator and have, as a sole arbitrator or part of an arbitral tribunal, drafted 10 or more international arbitral awards;
The List of Arbitrators
Individuals included in the List of Arbitrators have some experience acting as arbitrator or, although may not have yet achieved their first or multiple appointments, nevertheless have experience in arbitration as counsel to the extent that they would be suitable for appointment as arbitrator in cases either of smaller value or those with less complex issues for decision.
The List of Rising Arbitrators
Individuals included in the List of Rising Arbitrators are early-career arbitration practitioners who have demonstrated potential to serve as arbitrators, despite the fact that they may have little or no prior appointments. The List supports the recognition of emerging talent and encourages diversity in background, geography, and practice.
How to Apply
Interested applicants should submit their application via the Online Application Form and enclose their Curriculum Vitae (CV). In their CV, applicants are asked to thoroughly set out their arbitration experience, namely:
- Prior experience as Co-arbitrator, Sole Arbitrator, or Presiding Arbitrator;
- Experience acting as Legal Counsel in arbitration;
- Publications or speaking engagements in the field of arbitration.
Selection Process and Application Processing Fee
Processing Fee
Upon submitting the online Application Form, the applicants receive BAC’s bank details to pay the application processing fee (USD 150). Please note that the application fee is non-refundable.

The Selection Committee will evaluate your application on a discretionary basis. BAC reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to admit or to refuse the admission of any person to the BAC Arbitrators Directory.
Timeline
You will be informed of the Selection Committee’s decision in writing within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt of the application processing fee by BAC.
Our process explained
01 _ Material Selection
We begin by selecting the optimal battery chemistry and materials based on your specific application requirements. Our experts analyze factors such as energy density, power requirements, cycle life, temperature range, and safety considerations to determine the most suitable cell technology for your needs.
02 _ Module design
Our engineering team develops custom module designs that integrate the selected cells with advanced thermal management, battery management systems, and mechanical protection. Each design undergoes rigorous simulation and analysis to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity in your specific operating conditions.
03 _ Prototype Fabrication
Before full-scale production, we fabricate prototypes to validate our designs in real-world conditions. These prototypes undergo comprehensive testing for electrical performance, thermal behavior, mechanical integrity, and safety compliance. This testing phase helps identify any adjustments needed to optimize the final product.
04 _ Mass Production
Once designs are validated, we scale up to efficient, sustainable mass production. Our manufacturing processes are optimized to ensure consistent quality and performance across all battery modules. We implement rigorous quality control protocols at every stage of production, from cell screening to final assembly and testing.
05 _ Operation Training
We provide comprehensive training for your team on how to effectively operate, monitor, and maintain the battery system. This includes instruction on battery management system interfaces, performance monitoring, preventive maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques to ensure optimal system performance throughout its operational life.
06 _ Recycling Solution
Our commitment to sustainability extends to end-of-life planning. We design with circularity in mind, providing clear pathways for battery recycling and material recovery. Our dedicated sustainability team works with clients to develop recycling strategies that maximize material recovery and minimize environmental impact when batteries eventually reach the end of their useful life.
